I am Sean, a student at Kennesaw State, and I am currently facing eviction.

After coming to my mother's defense during an altercation with my stepfather, I've been given two weeks to move out. I already had plans to move out of my parents' home in August, but currently do not have enough saved to complete the move on such short notice. The rest of my family is supportive emotionally but unable to provide much financial support or a place to stay in the meantime.

During the altercation with my stepfather, I was subject to insults related to my sexuality, gender identity, absent father, and called a financial burden - despite paying the agreed-upon rent on time on every due date.

I am less than 2 years away from completing my bachelors' degree in Geography, after which I plan on studying at Georgia Tech for a masters in Urban Planning. I hope to help provide housing and vital public services for underprivileged communities in Atlanta once I complete my schooling. However, to make that future dream into a reality I need your assistance today to find a stable housing situation.

All donations will be used for moving costs into any housing that I can afford within driving distance of Kennesaw State, any extra will be greatly appreciated and applied toward future rent.
