11/20 Tri UPDATE: Just got off the phone with the vet clinic. We have a surgery date for 12/18. That’s the soonest they can get him in & it follows the guidelines for Tri being in my possession for 30 days In the meantime we will continue to get his splint redone, he will stay on medication to keep him out of pain and remain calm. Tri doesn’t seem to mind the rain He made sure our two walks so far today have been when it was just straight dumping rain I think his leg hurts more with the colder weather so we’re trying to keep him warm and dry despite his love for long walks in the rain.

With needing to keep re-splinting, buying more meds, and surgery being a little more than anticipated- if we could keep sharing the Go Fund Me, I would be so appreciative Thank you all so so much.

11/10 Tri UPDATE: He is doing amazing! He is super social. We were out enjoying some sunshine while the boys rode bikes He is seriously so sweet. Makes me even more sad for him- I still don’t understand why his owners aren’t looking for him.. That’s okay though, I’ve found someone who will adopt him after surgery
Tomorrow afternoon KRCR News Channel 7 will be here to interview us! & I’ll also find out more tomorrow, regarding surgery & after care. We’re pushing to get his leg repaired and not amputated, hopefully this week.
Thank you all for your continued support. We really appreciate it! If you could keep sharing the Go Fund Me that would be awesome. I still do not know what the total costs of all this will be. And if we have anything left over- it will go to his new adopting family to help him get what he needs to transition with them

11/7 Tri UPDATE: My heart is pretty dang full this evening He has been a lot more perkier today! Keeping up on his meds to keep the pain at bay… I was able to talk with my vet again. He is going to attempt to place hardware on Tri’s hock and fix the rest of the tendon damage. If unsuccessful, we will amputate. Either way, Tri can go on to living a happy healthy life! I was contacted by KRCR News Channel 7 and they are coming to interview us Monday afternoon! I have had a flood of messages, emails, phone calls, etc. from people who want to help this sweet boy. One of those messages was from my good friend Tim Weatherson at State Farm here in Red Bluff. Tim was nice enough to give Tri a cash donation and teamed up with Reynolds Ranch & Farm Supply- donating this huge bag of dog food and a new dog toy! I seriously cannot thank you all enough. Every single donation, well wishes, sharing of the posts, etc. I notice each and every one of you and appreciate you so very much! We have a great community and this shows

Please continue to share our Go Fund Me. Everything we raise will be for pre-op care, surgery costs, post-op care, and the remaining I will pass down to his new adopting family to help get him anything he needs for the 6-8 weeks it will take for him to heal

3rd UPDATE: 11/6 @4:30pm
I have him back at my house. He seems to be doing a lot better and in good spirits. He is enjoying snacks with his pain meds. We have a nice splint on his leg. Going to consult with a couple ortho surgeons tomorrow. He still needs a forever home. I am currently talking to a few individuals who have a lot of interest in fostering/adopting him❤️ Thank you ALL so much for the donations and kind words. You guys are amazing.
2nd UPDATE for 11/6: Dr. Sutfin is not able to do surgery on this poor guy. We will need to have it done in Anderson with an orthopedic specialist. It’s going to cost around $5-6k He will not heal correctly without the surgery. Or we can amputate it…. What do all of you think?

UPDATE: He is definitely broken. He is not chipped. No owner has come forward, so I’m going to continue taking responsibility for this poor dude. We’re currently at Red Bluff Vet. He is going to get a splint, continue pain management, and get a second opinion for surgery. Please keep sharing in hopes we find his family! In the meantime, I have a handful of people who’ve offered to foster/adopt him so I will be going through options! Thank you all so much for the support.

You can call the vet clinic directly to donate, Venmo, PayPal, or use the Go Fund Me link! Thank you again!

Hey everyone, Seanna here. I am starting this Go Fund Me for this poor dude we rescued from a ditch in Corning. He got hit and left… His back leg is severely broken. I am taking him to the vet in the morning. I have medicated him and stabilized his leg for now. We’re still hopeful to find his owners, but if not- this will help us get him the help he deserves. If his owners come forward, I promise to still pay the vet bill with the money we raise. Thank you so very much.
