On behalf of the Sweeney family, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our older brother, beloved son, and proud dad, Sean, from a brief illness of pneumonia.

Sean was deeply loved by those who knew him and we are heartbroken by this immense loss. Loving father of Brayden Michael Sweeney (10), his son was his pride, joy, and greatest accomplishment in life. Sean was known for his sense of humor, big heart, avid fan of rap music, and love of sports – especially his Philadelphia sports teams, which he enjoyed watching with Bray, us siblings, and our parents. He treasured the times he spent teaching his son about all sports and watching Brayden succeed in basketball, soccer, and karate. Sean was also a passionate artist with an interest in graffiti, creating works of art for his friends and family.

He is survived by his beloved son Brayden (Christina), parents Timothy and DonnaLee, sisters Shannon and Joanie, brother Phil (Sarah), and niece Willow.

A celebration of his life will be held at a date and time to still be decided.
