Support Sean: Medically Retired Veteran

My name is Sean. I am a medically retired Army veteran. My injury was caused by a parachute malfunction, leading to severe back issues and complete leg numbness. I have lost several jobs due to collapsing and physical limitations, and I have been unable to work.

My wife is taking the brunt of the stress trying to pay for the house. I never thought I would be here asking for help, but I am hoping to relieve some stress off of my wife mostly.

These funds will be going directly to paying off the house. If we are able to pay enough off, we can refinance and be able to pay our monthly bills easier.

-Breakdown of my story-

I began my work life in a blue-collar environment. I was working mostly in construction and plumbing until the age of 25. I then decided to join the Army where I was able to experience something larger than myself in life, where I was unfortunately injured on a Jump that ended with me hitting the ground a lot harder than I should have. I am extremely lucky to be alive and even walking for that matter. However, I have been inflicted with extreme back pain and my legs often go numb to where I will just collapse and have to wait for any feeling to recover if at all. I have been on one deployment to Afghanistan for a 1 year tour and I have been diagnosed with PTSD along with several other issues. I have had a rough transition back to the civilian side of things and I have lost a few jobs now. Most of them due to limitations physically and one due to a mental overload. I have come to believe that I will be unable to work for the time being and regret to say that I need assistance if possible. My wife is my world, and I did not think I would be asking for anything, but I know times have been hard for her and her job trying to progress in position to be able to pay for the house.

I hate seeing her stressed and would do anything to makes things easier for her.
