Support Sean in his Battle with Brain Cancer: Glioblastoma

Donation protected
My name is Alithea Tuttle and I am raising money on behalf of my father Sean Tuttle. Our world was turned upside down on January 30th 2025 when my Dad, Sean, was diagnosed with a grade four glioblastoma—a very aggressive form of brain cancer. There is no cure for this type of cancer and they believe it only started growing about 2 months ago. My father is my whole world and I would like to do everything in my power to make sure he stays a part of it. He is the most dedicated and present father one could wish for.

Glioblastoma, often referred to as GBM, is one of the most challenging types of brain tumors to treat. It develops very quickly, spreads rapidly, and is incredibly difficult to remove entirely. But my dad, being the fighter that he is, has already undergone intense brain surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible. He will need to do chemo and radiation as soon as recovering from the surgery and will be checked monthly for the rest of his life for any re-growth. His strength and resilience throughout this process has been astonishing. That being said, he still has a long journey to recovery and living the best form of this new life we have to navigate.

Growing up, my dad was the epitome of health. He is a passionate and dedicated softball player, usually playing on 6 different teams at a time. He has always been active and is always showing up for the people who need him. In his free time he would volunteer for Meals on Wheels helping deliver food to seniors and disabled people who need it. He has been there for me in every way possible my entire life and is the most emotionally empathetic person i’ve ever met. He’s been a steady presence in so many people's lives. He’s always been the type of person who would do anything for those he loves, whether it's family, friends, or strangers. For those of you who know my dad you know he is the most giving person and has probably been there for so many of you in your hardest times.
This surgery was just the first step in a life-long journey. The road to recovery is going to be difficult and very costly, as the treatments needed for GBM are intense and ongoing for the rest of his life. One thing we know for sure is that Sean has the strength, the love, and the drive to fight this every step of the way. He has always been a source of support, and now I ask you to help me support him.

All donations will go toward his medical expenses, treatment costs, rehabilitation, living costs and everyday needs as he continues this journey toward recovery. He will be unable to work and will need every bit of help. No contribution is too small. With your support, we know my dad will have the resources he needs to keep fighting and reclaim his health.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for my dad during this life-changing time. His fight is far from over, and with your support, we know that he is not alone and will be able to get the care that he needs. For my entire life he has been the greatest father in the world and all that I want to do is return the love and care that he has shown me. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your help.
