The family of James (Seamus) Moriarty is trying to raise money for his care and recovery after two liver transplants. On June 24th he received his first liver transplant. Complications led to two additional abdominal surgeries and two weeks in the ICU to try and fix the issues with the first liver. The additional surgeries caused too much trauma to the first liver and he needed to be placed back on the list for another liver transplant. On July 11th he received his second liver transplant. So far the second transplant was successful and hopefully the road to recovery is smooth from here. When it comes time to being released from the hospital he will need to go to a rehabilitation center to regain his strength before finally being released home. Seamus will be out of work until he is fully recovered which could take over six months. During his hospitalization Lisa (his wife) has had to take off work to be at the hospital with him and will have to work reduced hours during most of his recovery.
