Hey everyone, a lot of you know my kitty Seamus and how much he means to me. Seamus had to undergo emergency surgery last night after swallowing a 2ft long ribbon. After a series of x-rays and an ultrasound, they had to perform a really risky procedure cutting into his intestines in two places. They were able to remove all of the ribbon and while there could still be complications as his intestines untangle, he is stable and improving really well. He should be coming home today after two days in the ER! This emergency came out of nowhere and at a very vulnerable time. My girlfriend and I are both in between jobs, and have experienced multiple costly emergencies & break-ins to start the year. Seamus’s medical bills are going to total over $10,000 which we’re able to put on a payment plan. I know the world is messed up right now and no one is thriving but if you can help at all, literally the smallest amount would mean the world to us as we navigate this first month of bills.
