I am honored to run this year's TCS NYC Marathon for The Center for Discovery. The Center for Discovery is dedicated to serving children and adults with complex disabilities, medical frailties, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Contributions will fuel the innovation that makes The Center for Discovery a leader in educational, residential, medical, clinical, nutritional, creative arts, and recreational experiences for everyone they serve.
The Center is an extraordinary place, especially to my family. Two of my cousins, Hugh and Grace, are living and thriving there. Hugh works on one of the many farms at the Center that provides food served at his residence and other houses within the campus. He's been working with the goats of late, processing cheese, and has shown them at local fairs. Grace is working on vocational skills in her classroom, including all the birthday bakery orders for all at her campus! She also participates in many activities with the Center's recreational team such as snowshoeing in the winter months and canoeing in the summer. Both Hugh and Grace enjoy the weekly concert series that the Center provides for all their residents.
I am so thankful for the care, support and growth that Hugh, Grace, and all the residents are experiencing at TCFD and my family. I would be so grateful if you would consider making a contribution to support the tremendous work that happens there. Thank you in advance for anything you can give, and for your friendship and support. The Center for Discovery is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. EIN 14-1395426.
