The SCUHS SACA chapter will be attending the 2026 ACA Engage conference from January 22-24 in Washington, DC, and we need your support!

We are 8 passionate students who, along with the SoCal ACA reps, will be face to face with California lawmakers pushing for support of the Medicare Modernization Act, H.R. 539, which proposes to change the wording of the Medicare law to include reimbursement for all procedures that fall under the chiropractic scope of practice. Medicare does not regard us as the doctors we have trained to be when it refuses to pay for exams or other forms of treatment outside of adjustments. We find it unacceptable that California currently has only 1 of the 132 co-sponsors signed onto the bill and we believe our presence will change that.

All of the money raised will go towards lodging, registration fees, and flights.

We deeply appreciate any help and know our presence in DC makes a difference during this pivotal time for our profession.
