Support Scout's Urgent Veterinary Care
Spende geschützt
On Tuesday evening Scout became very sick with uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea. She was first seen by an emergency vet which controlled the vomiting and then Wednesday afternoon was seen by her primary vet. Unfortunately she’s continued to worsen and at 11pm Wednesday evening she was admitted to another emergency vet, where she is under observation. She's trying very hard and so am I – but the emergency vet bills are overwhelming.
To know Scout is to love her. She’s the baby of the family and just wants everyone to be as happy as her. Seeing her in pain is heartbreaking, and her vet team and I are doing everything we can to get her the treatment she needs. She’s currently undergone bloodwork, a feeding tube, and a plasma transfer. While she was able to receive a diagnosis (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis - hemorrhaging of the colon), she’s still going to need an ultrasound. This will check for pancreatitis, a foreign obstruction, or even worse necrotizing pancreatitis and allow her vets to decide the next course of action/treatment. I would do anything for her but help would be appreciated since the costs are adding up fast.
Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me and Scout
