Support Scout's Honor: Post-Production Fund

Pulling off the filming of Scout's Honor was a miracle unto itself that we could not have completed without the efforts of so many.

Our short had as many moving parts as some indie features and with just 3 days of filming we were proud to see it all come together. Our brilliant crew turned an ordinary garage into a top secret command center, built the tools for an imaginary high-speed heist, and crafted dozens of unique scout uniforms from scratch all in a few days.

We were thrilled to create a piece where so many of Seattle's young, talented actors could show off what they could do. We know it’s rare for young actors to have roles that demand so much range, wit, and heart. To watch them rise to the occasion and exceed our expectations was truly rewarding.

We are hyped to have filmed in our favorite place on earth, the beautiful PNW, working with so many legendary local crew members and creatives. We cannot wait to share this gem with the entire world!

We are now entering our post production phase, and are fundraising to cover the editing, coloring, sound mixing, and festival submission fees for Scout's Honor.

WHY SCOUT’S HONOR

Our ambition for Scout’s Honor was to create a piece that would articulate young women intelligently, all while being hilarious and a blast to watch. We want to shed a light on how rich a female centered story can be, even when it has nothing to do with crushes, beauty, or what one might expect from a coming of age story about girls.
