Support Scout's Leukemia Treatment

Donation protected
On January 20, 2019, Scout was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  While a surprise diagnosis like this is always devastating, the Moore family could never have expected to experience such a tragedy so suddenly after the Camp Wildfire.

On November 8, 2018, the Moore family's home and community in Paradise, California was destroyed in the most deadly fire in recent state history. Scout and Kristin fled their burning property in the early morning, rescuing the family pets, but little else.

As the Moore family navigated their new world post-Camp Fire, Scout began to exhibit unexplained symptoms.  After a scary late-night seizure and ER visit, a routine blood test revealed a parent's worst nightmare: cancer.  Scout was transported by helicopter to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA, where she has been receiving treatment ever since.

Scout will need ongoing chemo treatments at UC Davis for the next 2-3 years.   Your donation will help cover Scout's mounting medical bills, as well as the family's travel expenses for the nearly 200 mile roundtrip visit to Sacramento every week.

Please show your support in any way you can, even just a comment to say "Hello" to Scout.   She loves pointing out and reading her own name whenever she sees it.
