Support Scout Hays' Road to Recovery

Hello, this is Scout Hays, my beloved emotional support animal and truly my whole world. On Wednesday, November 6th, Scout went missing after somehow getting out of our backyard. Those four days without her were agonizing, but the outpouring of support from our community gave us hope. Thanks to everyone who shared posts, offered advice, and spread the word. Your kindness means more than words can express.

We did everything possible to find her—posting online, calling shelters daily, and putting up signs. Finally, after four long days, we received the call we had been praying for. Scout had been found by 24PetWatch, injured and hiding under a boat. We rushed her to the animal hospital, where they discovered a severe, infected wound on her leg, along with multiple scratches. She is unable to walk, and it’s likely she was hit by a car.

We are so incredibly grateful to have Scout back with us, but she faces a challenging road to recovery. Her medical bills are mounting, and we’re asking for any help you can offer to ensure she receives the care she needs.
