It's with heavy hearts that we are reaching out to support someone who has meant so much to so many of us---Scotty Womack. Scotty is the heart and soul of our small town of Midville, Georgia. Whether you know him from his "Trying to Make it in Midville" social media posts, where he humorously highlights the simple joys of life here, or from his photography, writing, and cooking talents, Scotty's positive energy and generosity have touched countless lives.

While he's capturing meaningful images with his camera and cooking for community events, he's also lending a helping hand whenever needed. Scotty has always been there for us. He has a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome, heard, and loved. He's always the first one to step up, offering his time and talents, no matter the need.

Sadly, while pursuing one of his favorite passions-- bird hunting with friends in Texas--Scotty suffered a stroke that has left him facing a long road to recovery. The medical costs are mounting, and as we all know, Scotty would never ask for help. But now, it's our turn to show him the same love and kindness he has shown all of us.

We're starting this GofundMe to raise funds for Scotty's medical expenses, rehabilitation, and any additional costs as he works towards recovery.
