No Shave November is coming to a close and our beards have grown in quite well this year. Typically, we are a clean-shaven and well-groomed Police Force; however, Chief Pugner has again agreed to allow us to keep growing our beards for the month of December if our goal is met. After the overwhelming surge of support for this splash fundraiser last year, we wanted to try and hit the goal again this year. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000 for the Scotty Fund! Everyone in Bethel and surrounding towns has seen, first-hand, how amazing this organization is. They swoop in and make some of the worst news a family can get just a little bit better by lessening the financial strains of medical treatments, monthly bills, and even groceries. Many of us have not needed their charitable contributions, but I am certain we all know someone who has. That is why the Scotty Fund is near and dear to all of our hearts.
