Scott Wilkinson is a retired Chief of Police who has dedicated his life to serving others, both in his career and through his passion project, Hidden Valley Horse Rescue. As the founder of this rescue, Scott has provided a safe haven for countless horses and created a unique program that helps people with mental disabilities connect with these gentle animals. His kindness and generosity have touched many lives—just a few months ago, he gave away a truck to someone in need because they had no vehicle.
Scott currently cares for four beloved horses: Liberty, Nika, Lady, and Peaches. These horses depend on him every day for their well-being and safety.
Right now, Scott is facing the most difficult challenge of his life. He recently broke his hip and is in excruciating pain—he can barely walk, and his hip bone is actually out and can be felt. He is living with bone-on-bone contact, making every movement agonizing. Scott urgently needs a total hip replacement, but the costs of surgery, recovery, and keeping the rescue running during this time are overwhelming.
Scott has always been there for others, and now he needs our help. Every donation will go directly toward his surgery, recovery, and supporting Hidden Valley Horse Rescue while he heals. Your support will make a real difference for Scott, Liberty, Nika, Lady, Peaches, and the community he serves. Please consider helping a true friend and community hero in his time of need.
