I am reaching out for help as I continue my journey of recovery from addiction. Right now, I am seeking support to complete my stay in treatment so I can become the best version of myself for my children, my family, and everyone around me. The challenges of keeping up with rent, bills, child support, and basic living expenses have made it difficult to focus fully on my healing. I want to be well enough to leave treatment with a strong foundation, to love myself, and to be the man I am meant to be.

The funds I raise will allow me to stay in treatment for another three months, giving me the time I need to work on myself, repair the damage I have done, and support those around me. If I have to leave early, I know it will be a struggle to stay on the right path. I still feel the pull of unhealthy coping mechanisms, but my team of facilitators, therapists, and medical professionals are helping me grow every day. Without this support, I may have to leave before I am ready, and I do not want to risk being separated from my family or causing more harm to myself or others.

I am only here by the grace of God, and I believe that everyone at ICFR has been placed in my life for a reason. The love and support I have received from family and friends is overwhelming, and while I sometimes struggle to feel deserving, I know how much I am loved. My dream is to recover from this disease and one day pay it forward by working in the field of recovery. One day at a time and one dollar at a time, I am growing stronger. My foundation of faith, hope, and love keeps me grounded, but I am reaching for the stars.
