Support the Mecham family through Scott’s passing
Donation protected
On Friday, September 12th, Scott was out with a friend mountain biking and had a very bad crash. The location of the trail made it difficult for EMS to get there (taking almost 30 min), and Scott ended up having to be taken by helicopter to the hospital. He was later transferred again by helicopter to the University of Utah where, en route, he was intubated. He has a contusion to the cervical spinal cord and is mostly paralyzed from the neck down right now. They removed some bone in his spine to allow room for the swelling of the cord. We remain hopeful that he will heal and be able to do the things he loves again one day.
Scott is the best dad, husband, brother, uncle, friend, and so much more. He is the current breadwinner of the family while Cierra is a stay at home mom with their two little girls. They need all the help, prayers, and support they can get right now. Please spread the word and throw up lots of prayers for them.
