Scott is my dear friend, and right now he’s facing one of the toughest battles of his life. He’s been diagnosed with liver failure and urgently needs a liver transplant. Without this life-saving procedure, doctors say he may only have about 12 months left. Scott had to quit his job due to his health, and with no insurance, the financial strain has become overwhelming. His wife is doing everything she can, working 30 hours a week, but her income is now their only support.

The funds raised here will go directly toward Scott’s recent and future medical bills, including the cost of the liver transplant. Right now, Scott is only allowed to drink 8 ounces of water a day, and he has to have fluids drained from his stomach regularly. He’s in constant pain and barely sleeps. It’s heartbreaking to see someone who has always been there for others now struggling so much. Scott has always been the kind of person to help anyone in need—now, he’s the one who needs help.
