Support Scott's Legacy: Benches for KTD Monastery

Donation protected
In Memory of Scott

Dearest Friends… I have started the Phase II fundraiser for Scott’s Memorial Benches project. (Many commented they never received my first note, so I will recap.) Last September, I started a collection to purchase granite benches for the Karme Ling Buddhist Columbarium in Delhi, NY, where Scott is interred. So far, we have placed 5 benches there, and now I would like to purchase more for the Monastery where he worked as the Facilities/Operations Manager in Woodstock, NY.

I’ve set up a GoFundMe page for anyone wishing to contribute to his memorial. Scott’s Benches will be located at two locations: at the Karme Ling Columbarium in Delhi, NY, and the others at the main KTD Monastery in Woodstock, NY.

As many of you may know, Scott passed away from Multiple Myeloma after years of treatment at Roswell Park and Mayo Clinic. During his last two years, when we returned to New York, he worked part-time at KTD - Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery in Woodstock as the Facilities and Operations Manager. He absolutely loved his job working there and had plans to return to duties after his transplant; however, that never happened.

Scott’s life will be remembered with the placement of these benches all around the KTD Buddhist Center and especially at Karme Ling, around his final resting place. In memory of him, I set up a donation platform where people could donate towards the purchase of these granite benches.

Please contact me if you have any questions. I sincerely appreciate all your support and prayers during our long cancer journey. Also, please don’t hesitate to forward this to any family and friends…

PLEASE NOTE:
If you already donated and didn’t hear back from me, please, PLEASE let me know. I’m trying to make sure I acknowledge each and every one of you. Again, thank you all for being a special part of Scott’s life. Gosh, this world is a very different place without him.

Much love and peace,
