A group of friends will be taking on a skydive to help raise money for our friend Scott, who is currently battling brain cancer and facing an incredibly tough journey ahead.

Scott is a self-employed, hardworking family man who, as a result of his diagnosis, has lost his business. We’re hoping to raise £20,000 to help take away some of the pressure and worry of day-to-day bills, so he can focus fully on his recovery.

He’s the kind of person who never asks for help—but would give it in a heartbeat.

What started as a routine eye test quickly turned into something far more serious. After further tests and an MRI in February, he was rushed to hospital and later diagnosed with a brain tumour.

The tumour is located in his occipital lobe, affecting his vision, and is believed to be an aggressive form of cancer. At the end of March, he underwent a major 7½ hour surgery. While surgeons were able to remove some of it, not all of the tumour could be taken out, and he now faces further treatment including radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

His vision has been significantly affected, and he is now focusing on recovery and the treatment ahead.

Despite everything, Scott has remained strong and positive, supported by his wonderful family, Elaine, and a huge circle of friends who think the world of him.

We’re raising funds to support him through his treatment and recovery, and to show him just how many people are behind him.
