Hello friends and family, Scott could sure use your help again.
Two years after beating lymphoma, he gets hit with leukemia. He spent 50 days in the hospital, 28 of them in ICU. He is out of the hospital and home now, but we have to drive into Chicago 7 days a week to Rush University Hospital to get his chemo infusions. This will happen every day for the next 8 months.
Scott's disability checks are half of what he made when he was working, and the struggle has hit hard. Between gas and parking, just the chemo trips alone add up to a hefty amount. We all know that Scott is one of the most giving and caring people in the world and has been there for many, myself included. Please, if you're able, any amount will help. We are currently leaving most of our worries in God's hands as we navigate this new cancer diagnosis. Scott is a trooper and taking every hit in stride and determination. I couldn't be more impressed and proud of him.
Signed, a humble friend trying to help his BFF.
