Support Scottie's NICU and Heart Surgery Journey

Emma and Cylie were overjoyed to welcome their baby girl, Scottie, on January 4th, 2025. Born at 34 weeks and 3 days, Scottie weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces and arrived at 9:11 PM. Because she was six weeks early, Scottie was transferred to the NICU, where she has been receiving respiratory support and feeding through an NG tube.

Scottie has also been diagnosed with a Ventricular Septal Defect, a congenital heart condition that will require open-heart surgery between 6 and 8 months of age, or sooner if her symptoms worsen.

This unexpected diagnosis has brought significant challenges, including changes to Emma and Cylie’s plans to return to work and the mounting financial strain of medical and related expenses.
