Support Scottie Pine's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
My name is Kirsten and I am starting a GoFundMe for Kait, Miles, and Scottie McGee. Scottie Pine recently had an ultrasound for an intestinal blockage and was rushed to Sacred Heart in Spokane after results came back. They've found a large malignant mass in her abdomen which had been causing her constipation. We are waiting for her to be able to receive a biopsy to best address how to shrink the tumor before attempted removal. Being in her abdomen, there are complications regarding artery placement and blood supply to the mass. We will update as able and necessary. Scottie is a trooper and other than mild discomfort, is doing really well. She's tough. I feel in my heart she can come through this and the prognosis will be good but only time will answer the questions we have now. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

They will be staying at this hospital for at least six weeks to treat Scottie but possibly longer. In this time, they will not be able to work. These donations will go towards hospital bills and helping them stay afloat. Please donate what you can and please spread the word to whomever you can about Scottie Pine. She is a smart and beautiful little girl and we are all hoping for a quick recovery.

Thank you so much for your support.

Update:
We are still in Spokane with Scottie Pine waiting on more test results and scans. She will have to be injected with some tracer to receive the next scan which will tell us more. The most we know right now, is that one of the urine panels indicated her mass likely has Neuroblastoma components to it, and isn't just a Ganglioneuroma. Despite that, Seattle Children's Hospital is confident they can remove the mass and as I understand, it will make it easier to identify what kind of cancer it is. There is a chance that if all of it is removed she may not even need chemotherapy. But, this scan at the end of the week will tell us if there is cancer anywhere else as well. In the meantime we've been keeping Scottie busy and having fun. She's feeling herself again now that her biopsy site has healed up almost all the way. She got to pet Sting Rays yesterday, and even fed one a raw shrimp without getting scared at all. But. We're so proud of her and she's been so brave and so tough. We will update everyone as we know more but for now we're just keeping Scottie Pine happy and busy as we possibly can.
