Scott received the devistating news of a Stage 4 metastatic cancer diagnosis on March 10th 2022. Our family is asking for your help please.
Those of you who know Scott, know that he is an amazing daddy to our 14 year old son Ty, and my best friend. He is a loyal friend, a hard worker, and an avid sports fan! Coach Scott has coached both LJAL rec and travel baseball from t-ball to 10u and loves watching his son Ty play baseball with the Michigan Bulls 14u team and at Churchill Highschool on the varsity team.
This type of metastatic cancer that Scott has is extremely aggressive. Shockingly, the doctors said he has only had cancer for about 6 months to a year. It has spread to his spine, pelvis, ribs, stomach, lungs, liver, and adrenal glands. This is causing a great deal of pain, weakness, and fatigue, which has resulted in him not being able to work, drive or sadly even attend his son's baseball games anymore, which the number one thing the loves to do.
Scott is not one to ask for help. He didn't want anyone to know about the diagnosis at first. His son reminded him that he has people that love him dearly and would want to know, and help, as he always has helped others in need. So we are asking for help financially if you are able. There are tremendous medical bills, chemo and radiation expenses, nurse aids, house payments, insurance and household bills piling up daily that he needs assistance with.
When he was coaching his son's baseball teams in the past, it was Scott that would rally his team on the field, now we are asking you to rally for him and create a new team to help... Team Scott!! Thank you so much for your support.
