Support Scott in His Fight Against Seizures
On December 2, Scott experienced his first-ever tonic-clonic seizure. Thankfully, he was laying down when it happened, and emergency services were able to transport him to the local ER. While the ER staff stabilized him, they sent him on his way with instructions to seek a neurologist. Unfortunately, without a primary care provider prior to this, navigating the healthcare system has been an uphill battle.
Since then, Scott has been prescribed two different medications while he waits for an appointment with a neurologist. Despite his efforts, today, Scott had a second unexpected tonic-clonic seizure at 5 a.m. Once again, he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, only to be discharged hours later with no answers—just another medication and instructions to return if another seizure occurs. The uncertainty has been overwhelming, and it’s been heartbreaking to watch Scott endure these challenges without a clear path forward.
On top of the medical challenges, Scott has been unable to work until he is cleared by a neurologist. He’s also been advised not to drive or participate in many of his daily activities, drastically impacting his ability to maintain his routine and independence. The loss of income, combined with mounting medical bills, transportation costs, and basic living expenses, has created a financial strain we cannot manage alone.
We’re reaching out for help to support Scott during this difficult time. Your donations will go towards medical bills current and future, helping him stay afloat while he focuses on his health and recovery. Every contribution brings him closer to relief and hope for better days ahead.
Thank you for taking the time to read Scott’s story and for any support you can offer. Whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page, your kindness means the world to us.
