Support Scott Langfitt's battle with cancer.

In April 2022, Scott was diagnosed with Malignant Lymphoblastic Lymphoma and anemia. His doctors in Nebraska have tried chemo and several other treatment plans, yet nothing has worked. Scott has been going weekly for blood transfusions and platelet transfusions. The doctors are trying a new medication now. They have also done four swabs and are actively looking for a donor for a stem cell transplant. When they find a donor, Scott will be required to be in the hospital for five weeks. Then they will have to stay in Omaha for an additional 100 days after he is released. They have to stay within 60 minutes of the hospital in case Scott has any reactions to the transplant. Once past the 100 days, he has to return weekly to the hospital for injections to keep him from getting fungal pneumonia.

Scott has continued to work through all his treatments so far but obviously won't be able to do that once the transplant occurs. The time away from home and work, the expenses of finding a place to stay in Omaha, and traveling back and forth will all take a toll on them financially on top of the lost income from being off work while in the hospital.

Everyone who knows Scott and Kim knows they would do anything to help anyone. They have touched so many lives over the years; now, it is our turn to rally around them and help carry them over this hurdle. Let's help them focus on the healing and not worry about the financial side of all of this.
