Support Scott Jerrell's Recovery Journey

If you know Scott Jerrell, you know that he is the very last person you will ever hear asking for help. He’s fiercely independent, strong as a bull and the kind of guy that would go without by helping someone else.

For those who may not know Scott, he was a guitar tech for Sacred Reich which constitutes a big part of his life. As you know, most musicians don’t have a pension let alone the tech guys! He is no longer touring and works at Rehab Burger in Old Town Scottsdale.

In January this year Scott had a stroke while at work. It wasn’t a light one either. He had some bleeding on the right side of his brain. The damaged area is responsible for speech and swallowing. People recover from this debilitating diagnosis all the time and Scott has been on the mend. Having a stroke required a lot of physical therapy, and to add insult to injury Scott has been out of work for months now.

Long time best pal Wiley Arnett and the staff at Rehab Burger have been crucial in helping Scott recover. But he isn’t physically ready to be back at work yet. To properly recover Scott needs more time, but paying rent doesn’t always work like that.

So, I started this GoFundMe on behalf of Scott. We aren’t looking for some huge number here, just enough to help Scott pay his rent a little longer and physically recover without the stress of having to worry about paying his bills. Take a little off his plate while he continues to improve and get to his life again.
