Support Scott in his fight against cancer

Update. This last couple weeks things have made a dramatic turn with Scott's health. This past week we found out that the cancer has metastasized to his brain. His Doctor found multiple lesions on his brain. After hours of testing on Thursday his Doctors wanted to start radiation immediately. He had his first dose of full brain radiation yesterday(June 23). He will need a total of 10 treatments over the next few weeks. The next few weeks are going to be very tough on him and our family. Please help in any way you can. Scott is a 42-year old father to seven-year old Noah, four-year old Asher, and a husband to Nicole. Recently, Scott was diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer with metastasis to his liver. His doctors in Plattsburgh, New York, where the family lives, referred him to Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York City, where he could receive the type of world-class, aggressive treatment that would not be possible locally, that this type of cancer requires. Scott’s current course of treatment calls for him leave behind his family and make the five-hour trek from his home, to New York City, once every two weeks. He is fortunate to have family and friends in his hometown of Mahopac, NY, roughly an hour north of NYC, to provide him with lodging and transportation to and from his treatments. However, the financial strain upon his family, due to loss of income, increased childcare, travel, and day-to-day expenses, will be overwhelming. As you can imagine, this news was Earth-shattering to Scott and his young family. A long road and many difficult challenges lay ahead for all of them. Scott and his family would be eternally grateful for any assistance you can offer, to help alleviate the tremendous burden placed upon them.
