Support Scott Gilbert's Recovery Journey

Hello! My name is Linda Dowdy!

Last Wednesday (5/21/25) my son, Scott Gilbert, was involved in a serious car accident, which resulted in a broken neck!

This past Friday, he had surgery to stableize his neck. Before surgery, he was

required to stay in bed, wear a sturdy neck brace, and lay in bed without too much moving around. The Dr was concerned that if Scott moved too much, the break would snap, which could cause paralysis or even death!!

Scott is now home and is still suffering with terrible pain! And according to the Dr, he will be off work for 3 months! Scott works for Dominos Pizza and he’s been there for a very long time! And he’s a hard worker! But if Scott doesn’t work, he doesn’t get paid! So, you can probably understand not working for 3 months = no income = dim future!!
