While Scott is making progress in the hospital, Sara is starting to find out what some of their out of pocket expenses will be. With the timing of Scott’s stroke, they will have to meet the deductible for 2024, and turn around immediately to hit it again in 2025. Unfortunately, we still don’t know what Scott’s long term needs will be but we know financial worry shouldn’t be one of them! Let’s Keep this Rally Going !! #BDR
On Saturday, December 7, our Scott Darrington suffered a hemorrhagic stroke and was taken by ambulance to Mayo Clinic. As of today, Scott is still in ICU, and due to the nature of his stroke, he will be monitored very closely for at least the next week. Unfortunately, we won’t know Scott’s long-term deficits or needs for a while, but we know how strong he is and how hard he will fight for recovery.
With the unknown of what their life will look like for Scott at the age of 45, Sara, his wife, and their children Kinsley, 14, and Easton, 12, we hoped by starting the GoFundMe, we could ease a little worry.
Two big ways to show your support:
1. Contribute to the GoFundMe & let’s conquer those out-of-pocket expenses and the days ahead where Scott will miss work.
2. Sign up for meal drop-offs:
