Support Scott Carswell’s Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
In February 2025, my lifelong friend Scott Carswell suffered a stroke that changed his world overnight. Scott was hospitalized and is now working hard in therapy, but he still cannot drive and has not been able to return to work. While he’s making progress, the road to recovery is long, and the bills—both medical and personal—keep coming. Disability support has been slow, adding to the stress during this difficult time.
Scott is the kind of person who leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets. He’s devoted countless years to serving with the ELKS, holding numerous Officer positions and providing catering for many charity benefits. Scott’s generosity and commitment to giving back come from his parents, Scotty and Debbie Carswell, who are lifelong Elks members and who are still remembered as pillars of our community. Whether he’s volunteering, singing, or playing guitar at local events, Scott’s spirit brings people together and lifts us all.
Now, Scott needs our help. Funds raised will go directly toward his medical bills, therapy costs, and basic living expenses while he focuses on recovery. Supporting Scott means giving back to someone who has always been there for others. Any contribution, big or small, will make a real difference as he works to regain his independence and return to the community he loves.
