I’ve just returned from Camp La Junta, where I witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking aftermath of the floods that tore through and devastated this beloved camp. What once was a place full of laughter, friendship, and lifelong memories is now unrecognizable.

Scott and Katie Fineske, the camp’s owners, gave everything they had to protect their campers during the disaster. Thanks to them and their counselors selfless and heroic efforts, every camper was brought to safety — but in the process, they lost the camp they’ve poured their hearts and lives into.

Now, they need our help.
