On January 21, I rescued a puppy I later named Scooby Two Socks.

He was extremely underweight, dehydrated, and living in unsafe conditions. A veterinary exam revealed parasites, malnutrition, and far more serious injuries consistent with blunt force trauma. Scooby is currently dealing with infection, prostatitis, and painful injuries that make even using the bathroom difficult.

He now needs urgent surgical and medical care — including a trauma-related neuter, abscess drainage, and possibly additional procedures — to relieve his pain and give him a chance at a healthy life.
