ELLSWORTH, MAINE SPECIAL CHILDREN'S FRIENDS SCHOOL

Special Children’s Friends, Inc., is a nonprofit organization providing early intervention services for children with special needs, and their families. The program provides specialized developmental programs for children aged 2-6 in their facility in Ellsworth, and offers case management services for children from birth through age 21, all at no cost to the families. Although SCF generates some income from MaineCare (Medicaid), we are largely dependent on donations to continue in operation. We are seeking donations to ensure that Special Children’s Friends can remain viable and continue to provide these very important services to the children and families in the Hancock County area.
