Support School Children in Need in Milot, Haiti
Donation protected
Dear Friend,
As the director of the Milot Archaeological Project in Haiti, I know first-hand how special a community a Milot is. Home to Sans Souci, the royal palace of Henry Christophe, hero of the Haitian Revolution and King of the Kingdom of Haiti, Milot has always stood for hope and a bright future for Haiti. As we enjoy the holiday season, Haitian children in the town of Milot are preparing to return to school in January. However, it has become very difficult for many families to supply their children with the materials they need for their kids to thrive in school.
The Milot Archaeological Project and the local organization Vision Christophienne pour la Construction d’une Nouvelle Haiti (VCCN-Haiti) are collaborating to raise funds to purchase at least 40 school kits for the most vulnerable children living in Milot (orphans, children in single-parent families, and children in families facing difficulty, etc.), in preparation for the reopening of classes this coming January. These funds will be used to purchase backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, and books
$50 will provide all the supplies needed for one child, and we hope to send at least 40 vulnerable children to school this year with the supplies they need to succeed. Please consider contributing, and if you have any questions feel free to contact us directly.
Sincerely,
J. Cameron Monroe (MAP) and Prévalcin Danius (VCCN Haiti)
