The Poetry Salon and Odd Pocket Press

The Poetry Salon and Odd Pocket Press are on a mission to make inspiration, education and quality creative community available to more people through the magic of the internet.

We offer a variety of workshops on a donation basis. Donations help fund partial and full scholarships for writers to join our paid workshops. They also help us offer fee-free submissions for poets who want to enter Odd Pocket's quarterly contests.

Our latest donation-based workshop is Structure & Surprise, a series of craft-classes based on the book, edited by Michael Theune. This workshop has helped dozens of poets write, edit and publish some of their best work. Taking most courses on this book can cost anywhere from $180 - $600 for a 6-week class. The Poetry Salon is offering it on a donation-basis. All are welcome.
