On October 31st, 2025 we will present the world premiere of Everything We Do is a Prayer Against Alienation, a collaborative film created with over 30 participants. This event will include a public performance and a collective reading of our statement, staged in New York City.

This action is the inaugural gathering of the Schizofeminist International and the Savant Garde, bringing together artists, performers, and community members in a creative act that combines film, theater, and collective expression.

We are seeking both participation and financial support. Our goal is to pay those who contribute to this project, while also welcoming volunteer support. If you have ever wanted to be part of a large-scale DIY feminist and working-class avant-garde theater production with a supportive community outside of institutional constraints, this project is for you.

This work is made entirely outside institutions and without prior funding. It is grounded in over a decade of dedicated DIY practice and contextualized within both art history and contemporary culture.

Often projects like this go unseen and undocumented. Having the resources to pay performers, videographers, and photographers ensures that this work will be properly recorded and shared, allowing us to connect with others seeking a movement built on solidarity and creative action.
