Hi my name is Will. In the month of September I will be run 300km within the month and finishing off with a half marathon to raise money for a fantastic little girl called scarlet.
Scarlet is a lovely 4 year old who is full of life and energy. However Scarlet was born profoundly deaf in both ears and was fitted with cochlear implants at 1 year old. Recently we have found out that scarlet’s eyesight is starting to deteriorate and she need to start wearing glasses.
There is no cure for my eyesight, it will begin to affect her night vision and pheripheral vision initially and it may result it complete loss of her eyesight in the future.
scarlet will require a tablet and keyboard to help with her learning to ‘touch type’ to support her learning and education in school and at home. Scarlet’s hearing age is already 1 year 1 month behind my peers. This is an expensive but necessary piece of equipment which will support me greatly.
Scarlet’s disability money would usually be used to fund equipment like this. However this was stopped a few months ago as she is normal and functioning child when wearing my cochlear implants.
I will also be looking for daily business sponsors sponsoring each run I do. It will be £20 and you will get little video posted from me and business page shown and tagged.
Please donate what you can and let’s help this amazing little girl out.
