Support Scarlett's Fight for Life

We are reaching out to ask for your prayers and support for our dear friends, Ashley and Nick Garcia, and their newborn daughter, Scarlett.

Born on May 7th, 2024, Scarlett has faced immense challenges since her first breath. She has spent her entire life in the NICU at Renown Children’s Hospital in Nevada, unable to breathe on her own and requiring constant care. She is unable to swallow or suck and has had a G tube placed.

Scarlett has been diagnosed with esophageal atresia with tracheoesophageal fistula, along with severe tracheomalacia, bronchiomalacia, and an abnormal glottis. These conditions have kept her on and off a ventilator, and the road ahead is filled with uncertainty.

Ashley has been unable to work since April, when she was placed on strict bed rest at the hospital, two weeks before Scarlett was delivered via C-section. Living 50 miles away from the hospital, Ashley and Nick have been commuting daily, spending every possible moment with Scarlett. The emotional and physical toll of these past months has been immense, and the financial strain is growing as medical bills pour in, reaching tens of thousands of dollars.

As of today, Scarlett’s medical team is discussing transferring her out of state for a higher level of care. If this happens, she will have to transferred using a med flight due to her fragile condition.

We are asking for your help to support the Garcia family during this incredibly difficult time. Any donations will go towards covering gas, household bills, and the overwhelming medical expenses that continue to accrue.

Ashley is the most selfless, caring, and loving person in the world. She will do anything for family and friends and will give you her last penny if you needed it. She has only ever wanted to be a mom.
