In Memory of Ann Thao

On December 16th, 2024, Scarlett (9) and Violet (5) experienced an unimaginable loss when their beloved mother, Ann Thao, passed away after a courageous battle with advanced metastatic appendiceal cancer. Diagnosed just this past summer, Ann began treatment in August 2024, fighting with everything she had to spend as much time as possible with her daughters. Until her final breath, Scarlett and Violet stayed by her side, surrounded by family, as Ann left this world peacefully.

Ann’s passing has left a void that words cannot describe. The holidays, once her favorite time of year, now magnify the heartbreak. Ann cherished creating joyful memories with her daughters during this season, treasuring every smile, laugh, and moment of togetherness. Now, instead of celebrating, Scarlett and Violet are navigating life without the warmth and love of their devoted mom.

Ann’s siblings and family is taking care of all funeral costs. This GoFundMe is dedicated to supporting Ann's children Scarlett and Violet as they face this profoundly difficult journey.

Annie’s legacy of bravery, humor, compassion, and boundless love lives on in her two beautiful daughters, Scarlett (9) and Violet (5), who carry her light forward.
