Support Sayda & Michael Lawrence's Recovery

Dear Friends & Family,

My name is Jack and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of my dear friends, Michael and Sayda Lawrence (and their three children). Recently, Sayda has been facing an incredibly challenging time due to unforeseen medical circumstances, and they need our support now more than ever.

Sayda, the beloved wife of Michael, and the Mother of Michael Jr., Anthony, and Luca has been courageously battling for her life after what was thought to be a simple gull bladder removal. During a follow up appointment, doctors had determined they had to go back in to for a secondary clean-up surgery the following weekend. During this secondary procedure, Sayda’s heart had stopped on the operating table. Doctors were able to resuscitate her but left her nearly fully paralyzed, with damage to her brain, heart, vision, and other vital organs. Despite their unwavering strength and resilience, the financial burden of medical bills, treatments, and daily expenses has become overwhelming for them.

Sayda is not only a devoted wife but also a loving mother, daughter, and friend. Her positivity and kindness have touched the lives of many, and now it's our turn to rally around her and her family in their time of need. Anyone who knows Michael and Sayda, know that they are some of the hardest working people you may know. Neither of them have received handouts, but have worked diligently with discipline to obtain a beautiful family, recently purchasing their first home together. Sayda had recently started her own business importing and distributing jewelry, aside from her kids, a passion that ranked high in her life and will hopefully continue some day.

With your generous contributions, we can alleviate some of the financial stress weighing heavily on Sayda and her family. Your donation will go directly towards covering medical expenses, household bills, rehabilitation, and other essential needs, allowing them to focus on what truly matters – Sayda's health and well-being. Sayda being one of the strongest I know and truly a miracle touching her, we know if the opportunity for physical rehabilitation is presented, she will succeed.

2.28.24 Update - Sayda's vision is slowly improving and was even able to makeout a scratch on Michael's face today! Also, she has just begun the movement of her right foot. Motor skills on Sayda's left side continue to improve a bit each day, now being able to hold up one finger independently of another at a time. Speech continues to improve along with normalizing liver and kidney function.
