Hi, I’m Sheila, and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart. On February 22nd, my granddaughter Sawyer suffered a stroke, and our world changed overnight. She is currently struggling with her speech and is unable to return to school or work until at least June. On top of the physical challenges, she has also been battling deep depression since the stroke, which has made this journey even more difficult. Watching her fight through this has been incredibly hard, but we are so grateful she is still here and continuing to push forward each day.
As if this wasn’t enough, just two days after she was discharged from the hospital, her bedroom was damaged by a leak, leaving her without a safe and comfortable space to heal. Between her recovery, lost income, and unexpected home repairs, the financial burden has quickly become overwhelming.
We are asking for any support you can give—whether that’s a donation or simply sharing this message. Every bit helps us get Sawyer the care she needs, fix her living space, and relieve some of the stress she’s facing during this already difficult time. We feel incredibly blessed by the love and support around us, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
