hello my name is Paris Shoopman. I am Sawyers sister. As many of you may know Sawyer was hit by a car while on his E-bike on Saturday morning. He was taken by helicopter from memorial hospital in Santa Rosa to Children’s hospital of Oakland for specialized care due to the severity of his injuries. Sawyers jaw is broken in multiple places, both arms are broken and his hip. He has internal bleeding.. all are being well tended to by the amazing staff and medical team of experts.

As a family who is used to serving others it is a bit awkward to put this up.. but when I see how devoted my parents are to Sawyer’s care even though they run their own business so they can’t call in for sick pay or use “vacation time” I know any bit of generosity would go along way to taking care of the unexpected things that are adding up as we move through what will be a very long recovery process.

Any bit of support is meaningful and so is the love, prayers, well wishes and good thoughts you can send to Sawyer and my family at this time. I thank you so much for all the love
