Support Sawsan's family to escape Gaza genocide

Hello, I am Sawsan Safi from Gaza. I write this after much thought and hesitation, but my motivation to save my family is stronger than any considerations. I started this fundraiser to help my family escape the war. My elderly parents, who should be enjoying their golden years in peace, now find themselves trapped in a war-torn Gaza, with nowhere to turn for safety. My parents dedicated their lives to creating a decent life for me and my siblings. They built a warm lovely house for our family, full of great and happy memories.

I studied at Cairo University in Egypt and I appeal to leave Gaza to continue my education. All my university papers remain in the house that was destroyed by the occupation. I went to Gaza for a summer vacation visit on 7/20 and stucked there because of the October 7 war on Gaza.

We left our home in KhanYounis and were displaced several times under inhumane conditions. We suffer from all forms of oppression, disease, pollution, and lack of security and treatment.

My house was partially destroyed by Israeli missiles, and then the Israeli forces invaded the neighborhood and destroyed it completely.

The goal of this campaign is to save money so that we can afford to travel out of Gaza, which has become very expensive due to the war, as the cost of travel per person now amounts to $5,000 which will paid to Hala company at Egypt. Therefore, I turn to you for support in facilitating my family’s safe passage out of Gaza.

The cost of coordination for an adult is $5,000 and for children is $2,500. We are 8 people. Imad and Intisar (father and mother). Intisar is 48 years old and Imad is 50 years old. My brother Hatem is 30 years old, my brother Hazem is 29 years old, my sister Salma is 24 years old, my sister Sally is 21 years old, and my younger brother Muhammad is 15 years old.
