Hi, my name is Shelby Thickstun, and I’m a junior at Butler University majoring in Music Industry Studies with a minor in Marketing. I’m also the President and founder of MIC, the Music Industry Club on campus. I am working alongside Butler students Andy Holmes and Italy Lewis to bring this event to life.
Through MIC, we are hosting our Annual Charity Concert, a student-led event featuring live performances from Butler students. This concert is all about bringing our community together through music while making a meaningful impact beyond campus.
The Save The Music Foundation is the benefitting charity of this event. 100% of profits raised will be donated to support their music education grants, which provide instruments, technology, and resources to students and schools in need.
Save The Music Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping students, schools, and communities reach their full potential through the power of music. For over 25 years, they have worked to address inequities in music education by investing in culturally rich communities across the U.S., donating millions of dollars in instruments and impacting millions of students’ lives.
By supporting this fundraiser, you are helping expand access to music education and ensuring that more students have the opportunity to learn, create, and grow through music.
Every contribution, big or small, truly makes a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much.
Thank you for supporting our mission and helping us use music to create real impact
