Hi, my name is Savaughna. In June, I was diagnosed with cancer (mucinous carcinoma). I’ve had a complete hysterectomy and was told it would be done after that. Unfortunately, my cancer has spread and is now stage 4. It is a very rare, very aggressive cancer. I keep having ongoing fluid build-up around my lungs that has been drained twice. I’ve undergone about 3 surgeries and I’m starting chemo very soon. Unfortunately, the kind of cancer that I have doesn’t have a cure. The chemo is to make it so I can live longer. Hopefully, I can see my children grow up. Since the cancer that I have has no cure, eventually it will come back and I will die from it. I’m hoping that I have a couple more years with my children.
I have to do six rounds of chemo at the moment, which will take about 18 weeks, which is about four months. Due to this, I cannot work and I do have two beautiful babies that I have to help support, let alone myself. I have bills, I have everyday needs, and I want to try to live the best life that I can with the rest of the time that I have left, not knowing how long that is. So, I’m just asking for a little bit of help, which kills me to do. Anything will help and I am more than appreciative, even for prayers. Thank you.
