Support Savanna's Medical Recovery Journey

Hello all,

My name is Maddy and I am fundraising to help cover some of my best friend Savanna's medical bills. Savanna is a bright, hard-working adult who is just trying to make a difference in the world. However, at 22 years old she is facing many medical conditions. Saturday 5/25 Savanna became extremely ill and was rushed to the hospital. There she was immediately sent into emergency surgery, in which, a major life-altering abdominal procedure was performed. She has spent the past week in the Intensive Care Unit with severe pain and symptoms making it a very long road to recovery ahead of her. She is hopeful in her recovery. Savanna has had no health issues prior which made this event rather alarming. While Savanna is recovering, she will be out of work for at least a month, probably longer. Savanna works 3 jobs to survive in the economy today and unfortunately did not have health insurance at the time of this event. While Savanna never reaches out for help, I am asking for any assistance that could be provided at this time. I am worried that this one medical incident will "drown" her for the rest of her life where she must continue to work 3 jobs to provide for herself. As many people know some of Savanna's passions include, working at a daycare teaching 2-year-olds, playing volleyball, and being a pivotal part of her family and friends' lives. Savanna loves to play volleyball and prior to the event she was playing 4 to 5 days a week, extending her network across New England. It is devasting to have her life altered in a way that she will not be able to pursue her passions like she used to before. Therefore, I am reaching out on behalf of her family and friends to ask for help, whether that is a prayer, sharing, or donation. We cannot thank you enough for the support during this extremely difficult time.
