I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Savannah, who has recently escaped a harrowing marriage. After bravely moving into a new apartment and seeking help from a domestic violence shelter, she has finally found a safe place to call home. However, the journey has been incredibly tough, and she’s now facing challenges that no one should have to face alone.

Savannah has been the sole caregiver for her children, which has made it nearly impossible for her to continue working. Recently, her request for a restraining order against her abuser was denied, adding another layer of difficulty to her situation. Despite these challenges, she’s determined to provide a stable and loving environment for her kids, especially with the new school year just around the corner.
