Savannah Stewart is my best friend, and right now, she’s facing one of the toughest challenges of her life. Recently, Savannah was hospitalized with a diagnosis of temporary paralysis. She is currently paralyzed from the chest down, though thankfully she still has movement in her arms and above. This sudden and unexpected condition has left her unable to work, and there’s no telling if or when she’ll regain feeling or be able to return to her job. Every day is uncertain, and her doctors haven’t set a release date yet. Even after she leaves the hospital, Savannah will need to enter inpatient rehabilitation to relearn how to manage daily tasks and regain as much independence as possible.
This fundraiser is to help Savannah with the mounting medical co-pays, emergency rent, and other bills that have piled up since her hospitalization. The financial strain is overwhelming, especially as she faces an unknown recovery timeline and the possibility of ongoing care. Your support will help cover these essential costs and give Savannah some peace of mind as she focuses on healing.
We’re not asking for money just to ask—any donation, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated. Savannah and I are surrounded by a big support system, and we’re deeply grateful for any help you can offer during this difficult time. Thank you for considering a donation to help Savannah on her journey to recovery.
